Sydney lads The Mission In Motion have announced their next bout of touring in support of the latest single from their ‘Somewhere Safe‘ album, ‘What Do You Do‘. Fresh from a spot on the Sydney Big Day Out and a series of headline shows, the band hits the road throughout May stopping in Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Central Coast. Fresh from playing the Sydney Big Day Out and a quick run of shows along the east coast with good friends Stealing O’Neal, Taperjean Records are pleased to announce The Mission In Motion’s national tour in support of their new single ‘What Do You Do’

‘What Do You Do’ is the third single to be released from the band’s stellar debut release ‘Somewhere Safe’ which spawned high rotation Triple J Singles “ New Skin” and Believer. The track is a detour from the band’s rockier stylings, preferring to weave acoustic guitars, some stripped back percussion and layer with stunning vocals from Sydney singer/songwriter Caitlin Harnett.

The tour will make its way through the East Coast capitals as well as Adelaide and finishing in Perth. As a gift of gratitude and thanks to fans the single will be available for free download via the bands band camp page themissioninmotion.bandcamp.com (From Friday March 11th)

Joining the bills will be a host of local acts whom will help celebrate the release of the single with many old and new friends.
